Hey everyone whats
up?
It was a quick
little weekend here in Colombia. But anyways we went to the Bogotá temple twice
in the past couple of days. We went on Friday and today on Tuesday. It’s a
little confusing going through in Spanish. But it was a blast. On Saturday
we went out contacting on the street. Elder Pace got put with a Latin companion
so we were in a trio. We only went for about an hour but we got eight peoples
information so the missionaries in Bogotá could go teach them more about the
gospel. We also handed out three book of mormons over that span. So we were
killing it. It’s pretty cool to see how humble the people down here are.
They are really open to the idea of Christ being in the Americas. We had Elder
Godoy of the seventy speak on Sunday, he is the one that gave his talk in Portuguese
in last conference. He gave kinda of an open question session that was really
interesting. We also had a testimony meeting on Sunday for all the Americans
that left. It was an amazing spiritual experience for all of us. It was tough
saying goodbye to all of them, but they are all going to be great missionaries.
So tonight we are getting ten new American missionaries. Six elders and four
sisters. They are probably coming really late tonight so I won’t be able to tell
you all about them until next Friday.
